LIMA -- Ada K. (Furr) Chiles, 99, of Lima passed away at 4:45 Am on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Wyngate Senior Living Community - Lima.
She was born on January 8, 1923 in McGuffey, OH to Isaac and Elizabeth K. (Hoover) Furr, who both preceded her in death.
On October 28, 1945, she married Donald E. Chiles, who preceded her in death on January 22, 2004.
Ada worked as a Nurse's Aide with Interim Health Care and retired in 1997.
She was a member of Lima Baptist Temple, where she helped with the young children and with many missionaries.
She loved to clean and was a very giving person who loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her sister-in-law Gloria Furr of Lima and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her nine brothers Walter, James, Homer, Roy, Raymond, Jack, Sherman, Charles and Franklin Furr.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, where the family will receive friends for 2 hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Interment in Preston Cemetery, Alger will immediately follow the services at the funeral home.
