Bernice P. Boatman, 79, of Auburn died at 7:02 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Hospital.
She was born June 2, 1913, in Macoupin County, the daughter of Pacifico and Edith Angeli Riccitelli. She married Bill Boatman in 1966 in Auburn. He died in 1987. Also preceding her in death were a granddaughter; two brothers, John and Lebro Riccitelli; and a sister, Juanita McReynolds.
Mrs. Boatman was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Auburn.
Surviving are a son, Robert Anjoski of Springfield; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Jeanette) McAfee of Auburn; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Russell (Rebella) Chew of Carlinville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Benedict's Church, Auburn, with the Rev. Peter Donohoe officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.
