Cecile Fae Ferguson Blackwell, 105, was the daughter of the late Edward and Edith Kern Ferguson. She graduated from Battle Ground High School and attended Lafayette Business College for two years.
She married Herbert S. Blackwell on July 5, 1924, in Crown Point, and he died Feb. 9, 1980.
Mrs. Blackwell worked as a cook in Cary Hall at Purdue University for 35 years before retiring.
Survived by nieces and nephews.
Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
