Imogene "Jean" Burcham, 90, of Odon, formerly of Bloomfield passed away Friday November 25, 2022 at Stonecroft Health Campus in Bloomington.
Born October 14, 1932 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of Willie E. and Sarah (Neely) Jones.
Jean was a homemaker; she was a member of the Bloomfield First Baptist Church. Jean enjoyed bowling and collecting glass ware.
Surviving relatives include her children, Rhonda (Mark) Stremming, Karen (Jim) Perlich, Doug (Rita) Burcham, her grandchildren, Brian Stremming, Sara Smith, Jessica Stremming Washington, Bethany Litz, Nicole Arnett and Bailey Prather, she has thirteen great grandchildren, two sister-in-law's, Thelma Jones, Mary Katherine Burcham and one brother-in-law, Frank Henderson.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Joe E. Burcham on November 7, 2022; her siblings, Alta Strunk, Elbern Jones, Elsie Miller, Raymond Jones, Mabel Hobson, Evelyn McGuire, Myrtle Byrer, Hoover Jones, Betty Lee Jones and her parents.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday November 29, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral home in Bloomfield with Rev. Nathan Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
The family wishes any memorial donations in Jean's name be made to the Bloomfield First Baptist Church food pantry.
