Heart Attack Fatal of Frank Dobricka Sat.
Funeral services for Frank Dobricka, 79, lifelong resident of Iowa and resident of O'Brien county for three quarters of a century, ???? ???? at the Baumgarten Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. H.G. Dawes pastor of the Methodist Church was in charge.

Mrs. Phillip Jordan, with piano accompaniment by Phyllis Triplett, sang "Only A Step" and "Abide With Me."

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Mathern and Mrs. Anna Sweeney had charge of the flowers.

Pallbearers were August Frerk, Emil Jungjohann, N.H. Lund, John Thorns, Frank Lenoard and Fred Haye.

Interment was in Calvary cemetery.

1866 - Frank W. Dobricka - 1945
Frank Wm. Dobricka was born in Iowa City, Iowa on Feb 3, 1866, the son of Joseph and Hatherine(sic) Dobricka. He passed away at his home in Sutherland on October 13, 1945 at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 10 days.


The first seven years were spent at Iowa City, after which time he moved to O'Brien County, where he has resided for 72 years. In 1887 on January 26, he was united in marriage to Frances Ann Brosh of Solon, Iowa. To this union were born 6 children. His son Joe passed away in infancy and Edgar met his death in an automobile accident in 1928.

He lived on a farm north of Sutherland 48 years. In the spring of 1935 he fell and broke his hip and since them has had to use crutches. Eight years ago he and his wife moved to Sutherland and have lived in town since that time. He was a member of the Modern Woodman of America.

On the evening of October 13, Mr. Dobricka was stricken with a heart attack which proved fatal to him within an hour.

He is survived by his wife and four children: Carl of Breckenridge, Minn., LeRoy of Sutherland, Elizabeth Steurmann of Sutherland and Mary Lake of ????????. There are also thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
