The Abraham Winscott (Wainscott) family settled in Madison County, Kentucky from North Carolina in the late 1780 to 1790s. There Charlotte Winscott, Daughter of Abraham Winscott, married Peter Stice on January 17, 1807. See attached permission signed by Abraham Winscott. Of interest is that the marriage permission was witnessed by her brother David Winscott who married Rebecca Baker and by Elijah Clubb who married sister Drucilla Winscott.
The Abraham Winscott family moved to Missouri along with Peter and Charlotte Stice. Charlotte died on December 16, 1826 during child birth to Nancy Stice. Peter Stice remarried and fathered many more children.
