She was born on October 29, 1940 in Washington, IN to Lyle and Betty
McCafferty.
Sue was a member of the St John Episcopal Church in Washington and was their organist for over 40 years, she taught kindergarten in Loogootee schools and later retired from Barr Reeve Schools where she taught SpecialEducation. She taught piano lessons to many kids. She was active in The Red Hats (she was Queen Bee), Class of 58 Group, the Event Planner of everything, and her Special Butterfly Girls.
Family left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Julie Bullock (Jeff and the sparkle in her eyes, her grandchildren, Josh & Jerica Bullock, along with her favorite Grand puppy, Camo, a sister, Kay Rousey; a sister-in-law, Mae BellMcCafferty and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mike McCafferty.
There will be a memorial service at St John Episcopal Church in Washington on Monday, November 28th 2022 at 11 AM with a visitation at 10 am until the time of the service, there will also be a celebration of Sue's life at the church following the service.
