MOSCOW, Idaho, May 29 (Special) Samuel T. Silvey, 75, died yesterday morning at his home here following a short illness.
He was born in Indiana, October 4, 1861. He came to Idaho in 1887, locating in the Viola district north of here. He was married here in 1888.
Surviving are his widow, Hattie, and three children. Earl and Olive Silvey, Moscow, and Edna Silvey, Marysville, Cal.
The Elks will have charge of the funeral services. Complete arrangements will be made after the arrival of the daughter from California.
Mr. Silvey was chief of police here for several years.
