Wyatt William Ashley, 81, husband of Eunice Mattison Ashley, resident of River Street, entered into rest Friday November 18, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 2,1941 in Honea Path to the late Frank William and Ruby McCurry Ashley, he attended Honea Path High School and retired from Gambrell's Pest Control. He was a former employee of the Garden of Memories, and he loved the cow sales, working at Taylor Stock Yard.
He was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving is his loving wife of 58 years, of the home, his son, Wyatt "Lane" Ashley of Belton; his granddaughters, Rebecca A Taylor and husband Aaron of Anderson, and Madelyn A. Rivest and husband Alexander of Daytona, FL. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Etrulia "Snook" Long and Shirley Alice Ashley.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 PM from Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
