Mrs. Dye, a native of McKinney, Texas, and daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David Dye, died at McComb Extended Care and Nursing Home. She lived in Gloster from 1910 to 1939 when she moved to Ackerman to be with her daughter. In 1942 she went to Oxford, N.C., to become housemother at Oxford Orphanage, returning to Ackerman after retirement.
She was married to Austin H. Bomar of Ladonia, Texas, and after his death, she married Curtis M. Dye of Gloster, who preceded her in death in 1938.
Mrs. Dye is survived by three sons, F. C. Dye of Daytona Beach, Fla., Dr. Robert F. Dey of Sugar Land, Texas, and Dr. warren H. Dye of Centreville; a daughter, Mrs. Horace (Elaine Bomar) Martin; and three granddaughters.
