A. "David" Swearingen age 65 of Bethlehem, WV passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Liza's Place,
Wheeling, WV.
He was born February 21, 1957 in Wheeling, son of the late Alfred and Barbara Beltz Swearingen.
David was a 1975 graduate of St. John's Central, Bellaire, OH and a 1980 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Business Degree. He worked for PBS and was a former financial manager and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Wheeling. He enjoyed working outside, hiking, landscaping, watching football and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, of 38 years, Peggy Davis Swearingen; two sisters, Kathryn (Richard) Look of Sunriver, OR and Terri (Mike) Murray of Wheeling; one brother, Mark Swearingen of Dover, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5pm-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Wheeling, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 690 Mt. Olivet Road, Wheeling, WV with Fr. Joseph Augustine as celebrant.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
