Frederick C. Schultheis age 89 of Clinton, passed away Saturday Nov. 12, 2022 at MercyOne – Clinton.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday Nov. 19th at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held Saturday 9:30 AM until the service hour at the church. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Fred was born on Oct. 18, 1933 in Dixon, IL, the son of George and Roda (Spade) Schultheis.

He married Marilyn Farwell on Nov. 15, 1953 in Dixon, IL, she died in 2011.

Fred served in the US Army from 1950-1953 and the US Air Force as a Tech Sergeant from 1954-1971.

Fred worked at Chicago Northwestern Railroad for over 20 years.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Clinton AMVETS.

Fred enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and working on small engines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, David, four brothers, and three sisters.
