Janet Orilai-Arline was a Scottish-Taiwanese limnologist who was born on December 31, 1973, in a nearby hospital in Clydebank, Scotland under very weird circumstances. Her mother accidentally killed herself but Janet survived.

Janet had twins, River and Phoenix Kanocowski on March 5, 1989. Her father, Gary Orilai, had three other children. Janet was the result of an affair. Gary raised Janet in Barbados.

Janet died from the West Nile Virus complications and myocarditis after fighting it for a year or so on October 14, 2017, in her childhood home in Oistins, Barbados.
