Jessie L. Slaton, 19, died on Wednesday morning at the home of his mother North of Brownsboro after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Sexton Church with interment in New Harmony cemetery. Rev. J.E. White of Murchison officiated.
Survivors include his mother, one brother, Clarence of Port Arthur and one sister, Mrs. Ray Fulgham of Port Arthur.
