James D. Babel, age 52, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his father, James Stanley Babel, his stepfather, friend and mentor, Wayne Cousino, and his father-in-law, Arden Cone. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Ardath Babel; his daughters, Shanna and husband Michael Williams, Jamie and husband Sean Caldwell; his three little birds, Phoebe Jane, Chloe Madison and Marleina Lee; mother, Jeanne Cousino; sister, Debra Babel; mother-in-law, Dora Cone; brother, Ted and wife Kathy Bercher and many more precious family and friends.

James graduated from the University of Toledo with his Master's Degree in Business Administration. He was very dedicated to his work at Metal Forming and Coining as a Quality Control Manager.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Newcomer Funeral Home Toledo Chapel, 4150 West Laskey Road. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.
