Addrian R. "Dick" Beman, 92, a resident of the Wayne County Nursing Home, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012.
There will be no services held at this time. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Honeoye.
Dick was born November 30, 1919, in Southport, N.Y. a son to the late Addison and Laura Mae Canedy Beman. He was a WWII veteran of the Army. He married Laura Jean Stacy and together they had a son, Ronald Franklin Beman. After Laura died in 1981, Dick married Jean Everhart Shibley.
Contributions may be made to the Activity Fund at the Wayne County Nursing Home, 1529 Nye Rd. Lyons, N.Y. 14489 in his memory.
Survived by granddaughter, Michelle; sister, Lea Hardy of South Carolina; step-children, Sandra (Richard) Straube, Barbara (Harry) Zielski, Robert Shibley, Dr. Phillip (Susan) Shibley, Bonnie (Robert) Mathews; eight step grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
