Services for Myrtle Manchester, 85, who died Wednesday in a Santa Rosa convalescent hospital after a long illness, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Oakland.
A native of Michigan, she moved to California in 1907 and to Santa Rosa 4-1/2 years ago from Oakland. She was a housewife.
She is survived by her son, Stanley J. Manchester, Santa Rosa; her brothers, Leslie Codde, San Leandro, and Al Codde, Tennessee, and by three grandchildren.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Eggen and Lance Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will Monday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Oakland, followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre in Hayward.
