Sheila was born on June 16, 1944, in Marion, Indiana, to Ralph Emmet Embree and Thelma Delene (Lee) Embree. She graduated from Jefferson Township High School and worked for S.S. Kresge Company, which would later become K-Mart. Her family was everything to her and she made sure to put them first. Sheila enjoyed fishing and spending time with her loved ones.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Thelma Embree, daughter, Stacy Straley, sister, Bonnie Mathias, sister, Marilyn Jennings, and brother, Larry Embree.
Loving survivors include her son, Sean Straley of Warren, IN, daughter, Stephanie (Jon) VanVliet of Elkmont, AL, sisters, Beveryl Grotrian of Fort Wayne and Karen Reber of Huntington, former husband, Jim Aul of Birdseye, IN, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home located at 203 N. Matilda St. Warren, IN 46792, on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 10AM to 12PM. Inurnment will be at Mt. Etna Cemetery.
