Amelia Denis (Fitzgerald) Newlen, 47, wife of David B. Newlen, of 2637 W. Beverley St., Staunton, died Friday morning, Feb. 8, 2008, in her residence. She was born Sept. 3, 1960, in Waynesboro, daughter of Shirley (Grant) Miller of Staunton and the late Palmer R. Fitzgerald.
In addition to her husband, family includes a daughter, Chasiti M. Newlen of Staunton, and her friend, T.J. Johnson; a brother, Shannon R. Fitzgerald of Staunton; a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, including a special brother-in-law, Tommy Newlen; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sons, Anthony and Roger Howdyshell.
The body will be cremated.
