FORMER CARLTON BOY KILLED IN AIR CRASH
CARLTON, June 11 – Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Tualatin Plains church for Alan Winston Detrick, 22, of Cornelius, who was killed May 28 in an air crash near Brenton, Ala. His body was brought to Washington county under military escort.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.D. Detrick of Cornelius, and two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Davis of Redondo, Wash., and Mrs. Frances Reynolds of Stanfield.
He is a graduate of Carlton union high school and was student body president during his senior year in 1938, when he resided with his parents on a farm east of town
