Thomas Hayden Phillips, born Dec. 28, 1874, died at his home in Russellville March 27. Funeral services for him were conducted Wednesday, March 29, at Springfield, Tennessee with burial in the city cemetery there. Rev. Elmer Mason, minister of the Methodist church of which Mr. Phillips was a member, conducted the rites. Mr. Phillips was a son of Geo William Phillips, and Parsea Virginia Gibbs Phillips, of Virginia. Survivors are four daughters: Mrs. Alma May Barrow, Cross Plains, Tenn.; Mrs. Dovie Murell Johnson, Springfield, Tenn.; Mrs. Cordie Keeton, Russellville; Mrs. Ruth May Barrow, Evansville, Indiana. Three sons: William and Tommy of Auburn, Kentucky; and Roy of Marion, Kentucky.
