Bernice Evelyn Schultz Bernice Evelyn "Eve" (Duffield) Schultz, 71, of Schwenksville, passed away April 26, 2010 at Phoenixville Hospital. She was the wife of the late David C. Schultz who passed away in 2004. Born August 5, 1938 in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Corson Vernon and Emma Evelyn (Kohansby) Duffield. She was a 1956 graduate of Conshohocken High School and a 1959 graduate of Roxborough Memorial School of Nursing. Mrs. Schultz was a registered nurse for 34 years at Suburban General Hospital retiring in 2004 as a home care nurse. Mrs. Schultz was a member of the Schwenksville Fire House Ladies Auxiliary and the Collegeville Area R.E.A.C.T. She was a Cub Scout Den Leader and also a Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and crocheting. Surviving are ten children, Barbara Schultz of Royersford, Susan Schultz and Nancy Doerner, both of Schwenksville, Charles Schultz of St. Charles, MO, Paul Schultz of Topton, Kate Martin of Royersford, Linda Lynch of Blandon, Eric Schultz of Schwenksville, Gretchen Markel of Birdsboro, and Joann Schultz of Gwynedd; four siblings, Virginia Famous of Ambler, Robert Duffield of Plymouth Meeting, Alice Moore of Plano, TX, and Roy Duffield of Wilmington, DE; 25 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Heather and Adrienne Schultz.
Interment is private at Northwood Cemetery in Philadelphia.
