Irene C. Kulcsar, 94, of Bremen, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2022. Irene was born on April 20, 1928 in South Bend, IN to Elizabeth (Elo) and Emery Kulcsar. Irene was the youngest of 15 children. Her working years were spent at Ball Band / Uniroyal in Mishawaka. She enjoyed bowling, playing softball, and attending all types of sporting events. After her retirement she moved to The Lake of the Woods in Bremen where she spent her days sitting on the pier fishing, another one of her favorite things to do. Our Aunt Irene loves spending time with her family. Her nieces and nephews brought her great joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents along with her brothers, Joseph, Steve, Emery, Alex, Tony, Burt, Louie, John, and Bob and sisters, Anne, Teresa, Margaret, Elsie, and Helen. Irene is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. They all loved her beyond measure and she will be missed more than words can express. The family would like to give a special Thank you to Kristi and Steve Burkins. Your help has been invaluable.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:30 am, Thursday, August 25, 2022 in the Bremen Cemetery Chapel. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 am, in the chapel with a private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Bremen VFW, 1750 W. Plymouth St., Bremen, IN 46506.
