Romaine Elizabeth (Boyd) Olewiler, 85, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at the home of her son, Brice Olewiler. She was the wife of the late Ralph A. Olewiler. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Bethel U.M. Cemetery, 1674 Furnace Road, Brogue with her Pastor, The Rev. Beth Holz officiating. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born February 5, 1937 in Brogue, a daughter of the late Thomas Z. and Gail F. (Mills) Boyd, she was a 1955 graduate of Lower Chanceford High School. Mrs. Olewiler had worked at Sears for 40 years and then retired from Apple Ford in Red Lion after 10 years of service. She was an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church for more than 50 years. Mrs. Olewiler is survived by two sons, Brian T. Olewiler and companion Sharon Kilgore of Brogue and Brice A. Olewiler of Dallastown; a grandson, Joshua T. Olewiler; great granddaughter, Cheyenne Olewiler; and a sister, Janet Tyson of Felton. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Blaine and Harold Boyd.
