Professional Football Player. For 5 seasons he played for the Chicago Cardinals (1954 to 1957) and the Oakland Raiders (1960). He was drafted in the 1954 National Football League (NFL) draft in round 8 as selection number 86 by the Chicago Cardinals as a back, from the University of California, Berkeley. While at the University of California, Berkeley as a California Golden Bear he was selected by the Football Writers Association of America to the 1954 College Football All-America Team.
