Dorothy Blunk 73, a resident of Monrovia, died at 6:30 this morning in the Bloomington Hospital where she had been a patient since Saturday. She had been ill several weeks.
A Morgan County native, she was born near Crown Center on Sept 28, 1906, the daughter of G. W. and Gertrude Alexander Curtis. In 1965, she married Verlie "Bill" Blunk, who survives.
Other survivors include two brothers, Hugh Curtis of Crown Center and D. F. Curtis of Florida; and a sister, Marjorie Brown at Crown Center.
Mrs Blunk was a retired employee of the American legion National Headquarters in Indianapolis. The funeral will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Neal and Summers Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Hall. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the mortuary.
