Gary Dean Garland, age 67, husband of Debbie Garland of London, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Gary Michael Garland and wife Ashley, Shonna Garland Larkey and Joshua Garland and wife Beverly all of London, Kentucky; he was the brother of Wayne Garland and wife Martha of Florida, Bobby Garland of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Bruce Garland, Dennis Garland and Danny Garland and wife Sherry all of London, Kentucky; he was the son-in-law of Chester Taylor of London, Kentucky. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Blake Still, Ashton Garland, Gage Larkey, Zoey Larkey and Kruz Larkey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Bonnie (Bolton) Garland; and by his sister, Darlene Garland.
He was also blessed with a special second family; Herman Holmes and the late Willetta Holmes and their daughter, Sharon Barrett and their son the late Michael Holmes.
Funeral services for Gary Dean Garland will be conducted Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Jamie Maxey officiating. Entombment will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family of Gary Dean Garland will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Wayne Garland, Danny Garland, Hershell Lainhart, Dee Bolton, Charles Parker and Shane Garland.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Bruce Garland, Bobby Garland, Dennis Garland, Blake Still and Darrell Bolton.
