She served the Lord alongside her husband as a Pastors Wife for over 30 years. After moving to Cookeville, she attended Cookeville First Baptist Church where she was a member of the ACT Sunday School class and helped with the mother's day out program.
She leaves behind her son: Abel (Raquel) Gomez; daughter: Rosa (Dimas) Aranda of Cookeville; sons: Caleb (Nancy) Gomez and Benjamin Gomez of Mexico; siblings: Herminia (Vicente) Medina, Javier (Marta) Almanza, Luis Almanza, Alicia Almanza, Patricia Almanza and Elizabeth Almanza - all of Chihuahua, Mexico and eight grandchildren: Bequer and Ezri Gomez, Samuel (Bekah), Gabriel and Keren Aranda, Sofia Gomez and Mariana Gomez.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Abel Gomez Gonzalez and sisters: Bertha and Marta Almanza.
Memorial services were held at First Baptist Church of Cookeville on Tuesday, November 1st.
