Bedford Ross Kines, 60 of Arlington, VA passed away at his home on August 29, 2012. He was an avid Redskins fan and loved bluegrass music. He was born March 22, 1952 to Bedford L. Kines and the late Frances Velodyia-Kines. Bedford Ross Kines was raised by the late JoAnne Dove life companion of Bedford L. Kines. Including his mother he was preceded in death by three sisters, Anita Mason, JoAnne Majors, and Nancy Lansberry; and his grandparents, Harry and Beulah Kines. Including his father, he is survived by two daughters, Tammy Sledge and Dee Dee Kines; four sons, Scottie Kines, Lee Kines, Brandon Kines, and Bryan Kines; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Moss, and Sue Shirey. A memorial service will be held at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, VA 22193 on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
