He was born in the Golden area, the son of Robert Wilson "Brock" and Phoebe Anna (Hughes) Alexander. He married the former Gladys I. Seckman of Clayton, she survives.
Mr. Alexander was a farmer and had a gas station in the early 1940's in Clayton, IL. He moved his family to Phoenix, Arizona in 1943 due to his wife's health. They later moved on to Middleton, ID. A son, Ralph, preceded him in death.
Surviving in addition to his widow: Mrs. Fred J. Hoelscher (Gwen), of Plymouth, IL; Robert "Jack" of Caldwell, ID; Clyde Jr. "Deacon" of Phoenix, AZ; Mrs. Pete Araquistain (Jule Frances "Peg") of Caldwell, ID; Mrs. Roy B. Auten (Honey Lou) of Phoenix, AZ; and Mary Lee Alexander of Twin Falls, ID; and Charles Alexander of Caldwell, and ten grandchildren.
Burial in Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, ID.∼Clyde Alexander, 64, of Caldwell Route 1, died early Thursday morning at a local hospital. He was born Dec. 10, 1894, in Golden, Ill., and was reared in Illinois.
In 1945 he moved to Sunny Slope, and came to the Black Canyon area 10 years ago.
He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys Alexander, Caldwell; three sons, four daughters; a brother, Edward Alexander of Hobart, Okla., and 10 grandchildren.
