Edna Almina Giles Clayburn Johnson, 78, 1424 W. 600 South died March 11, 1944, in a Salt Lkae City hospital following a long illness. Born June 11, 1898, Heber City, to John T.M. Giles and Elsie Jane Dayton Giles. Married David Clayburn, Dec. 14, 1914, Heber City. He died July 23, 1953. Married Oscar A. Johnson Oct. 30, 1956. Lived in Bell, Calif., for 11 years and in Salt Lake City since 1967. Active member LDS Church. Primary teacher and Relief Society counselor and teacher. Survivors; husband, Salt Lake City, Sons, daughters, Dee, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Merle (Enid) Johnson, Rigby, Idaho; Mrs. Lloyd (margaret) Wall, Kennilworth, Carbon County; Theron, Charleston, Wasatch County; Thomas, Sandy; step-son Roy Johnson, San Jose, Calif.;23 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren: 3 step grand children; brothers, sisters,Forrest, Heber City; Mrs. Nellie Durtschi, Salt Lake City; Mrs. James (Leora) Doyle, American Fork. Funeral services Tuesday, 1 p.m. Olpin Mortuary, Heber City where friends may call Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday before services. Burial, Midway Cemetery.
