Thelma Louise Dorrance, 87, of Canby, Oregon, passed away October 20,2022.

Thelma was born on March 25, 1935, to William and Elanor Jordan in Roosevelt, Minnesota. She moved to Oregon at the age of 16. She was married to Arthur Dorrance for 58 years. Thelma was an active volunteer for the Canby American Legion and volunteered for the Canby Senior Center. Hobbies included bowling, bingo, hunting and fishing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. It can truly be said that Thelma never spent a lazy day in her life! She was much loved and will be missed by her whole family and her friends.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Beauchamp; and two daughters, Laurie VanDyke, and Pamela Doyle. Another son, Darrell Beauchamp, died in 1977. She also had two stepchildren, Scott, and Linda Dorrance. She had eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Canby Funeral Chapel, with a graveside service followed, by a Celebration of Life luncheon at 1:00 pm, at the Canby American Legion Hall.~~~Canby Funeral Chapel obituary
