A long-time member of Christ Lutheran Church in Denmark, she taught Sunday school where she enjoyed playing the piano and was also a member of the choir. Carol had a love of baseball instilled in her by listening to Brewer games on the radio with her grandpa Henry and remained a Brewer fan for life. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing, gardening and traveling.
Survivors include her children: Paul Hansen and his children: Dane and Jolee; Mark (Mary) Hansen and their children: Braden (Catrina), Devon and Sophia; siblings: Nancy (Hammy) Last, Ellen (Rick) Storzer and Debbie (Steve) Fredericks; in-laws: Neil (Karen) Hansen, Darrel (Kay) Hansen, Julie Kuchenbecker and Meryl (Glen) Parizek; as well as nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; parents; infant son Scott Hansen; in-laws: Donald Kuchenbecker, Pauline (Harris) Schlies and Joe Thompson.
Family and friends may visit at Christ Lutheran Church in Denmark, on Friday, October 28, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am with Pastor David Ruddat officiating. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
