Grady Orbin Cook, 90, of Peoria, Illinois passed away on Tuesday October 25, 2022. He was born January 7, 1932 in Franklin County, Alabama. Grady was the eldest son of J.C. and Letha (Holt) Cook. He married Betty J. Quigley on July 25, 1964 in Peoria.

Grady served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He became a Mason in 1973 being a lifetime member of Illinois Lodge 263.

Grady's survivors include daughters Cindy (Rick) Campbell of Florida, Jenine Rowbottom of Florida, Tammy (Walter) Corbett of South Carolina; son-in-law Terry McLaughlin of Morton, Illinois; sister Janette Britnell (Steve) of Russellville, Alabama and brother Danny Cook (Martha) of Killen, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Quigley Cook, stepdaughter Cathy McLaughlin, parents, brother Orville, and sister Jessie Mae Hendrix.

Burial will be in Palm Cemetery in Rushville, Illinois.
