He was born on Aug. 5, 1933, in Luray and was a son of the late Lloyd McKinley Buracker and Ruth Virginia Cave Buracker.
Mr. Buracker worked as a foreman at Avtex, retiring with 37 years of service.
On May 30, 1953, he married Annie Watson Smelser Buracker, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Tina R. Mann and husband Shannon of Stanley, Teresa Ann Bond and husband Ronnie of Broadway, and Wanda Bernice Stephens and husband Phil of Fort Valley; a brother, Winston Buracker of Stanley; two sisters, Millie B. Prince and Patty A. Campbell, both of Stanley; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Leroy Franklin Buracker; a brother, Forrest Malcolm Cave; and two sisters, Reva Virginia Buracker and Anna Mae Buracker.
A funeral service was conducted on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church by Pastor Randy Miller. Burial was in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.
