Susan passed away at her home on May 28 2002 She was born in Chicago Oct 14 1934 to John and Viola Crooks. After attending school In Chicago she earned Nursing Degrees from Purdue University and University of Northern Colorado, then a Masters from the University of Washington. She was married to Richard Boots In 1952; she married Peter M. Pease on 21 Jun 1980. Susan enjoyed spending time her extended family, quilting, Zonta International and singing with Sweet Adelines. She was preceded In death by her father John Crooks, and Is survived by her mother Viola Crooks, husband Peter, both of Olympia: brother John (Phyllis) Crooks of Chicago, her children Deborah (Jerry) Burney of Rochester, Richard (Korrina) Boots of Oak Harbor, Paul (Molly) Boots of Anchorage, Amy Williams, Franci, Tony and Jerry Pease; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on June 15 2002 at 2:00 pm at Capitol Christian Center 819 Olympia Ave NE. The family suggests that In lieu of flowers; remembrances be made to: Zonta Foundation of SPS (for scholarship) at: Zonta Club of SPS P0 Box 11283 Olympia WA 98513-1283
