Peter Tunnel Lucas Sr.,Ponca City,went to be with his Lord
April 7 2002.He was 46. Pete. will be laid to rest beside his parents,Joseph and Mary Lucas,at 1 pm.Wednesday,April 10,2002
at Hosey Hill Cemetery in Weir,Kansas.

Casket bearers will be Joseph Lucas, Peter Lucas Jr., Tony Ortiz, and Michael Lucas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Pete married Bonita Jones on Feb. 14 1991, in Ponca City
where they shared 11 wonderful years of marriage together.
Pete was born Feb. 9 1956 in Muskogee, the son of Joseph Lee and Mary Ethel Riddell Lucas; both preceded him in death.

Pete owned Lucas Roofing and been roofing for over 32 years. He enjoyed working with his hands and took great pride in his work. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
and spending time with his kids and family,listening to
Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. who were his heroes.

Pete was a loving husband, father.and grandfather.and a wonderful big brother. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie. and son Michael
Johnathan. of the home. sons . Joseph Lee Lucas. Peter Tunnel Lucas Jr, and Tony Ortiz,daughters,Mary Kay Brown and Tracy Jones all of Ponca City; his grandkids , Carolene Ann, Matthew Paul,Jason Lee, Abigail Nicole and Anthony Jr.; one sister Jo Lucas of Ponca City, Okla.;
a niece,Nancy Lucas and husband Juan Langoria; a great niece, Mary Ann; great nephew, Juan Jr.; good friend Michael B. Lackey and Roy McCormick of Ponca City and Gail Powell of Newkirk; one uncle,Homer Riddell and wife,Betty of Hot Springs,Arkansas.
