William R. Brandsma, 32, 3824 Seventh avenue, died in a hospital here Tuesday after a brief illness. He had been associated with the B & B Transfer Co. here and also was an agent for the Columbia Mutual Insurance Co. He was born September 25, 1927, in Sioux City, attended schools here and was graduated from East high school. Survivors include two daughters, Linda and Gayle, both of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Brandsma, sr., of Sioux City; two brothers, Dick of Aurora, Cal., and Louis, jr., stationed at Travis airforce base, Cal., and three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Chesebro, of Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. Herman Brown, of Redwood City, Cal., and Mrs. Dorothy Smythe, of El Monte, Cal. The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy Morningside funeral home.

Funeral services for William R. Brandsma, 32, 3824 Seventh street, who died Tuesday at a hospital after a brief illness, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside, Rev. J. W. VanWeelden of the First Christian Reformed church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial park cemetery. Pallbearers will be cousins of Mr. Brandsma.
