Raymond Lewis Boltinhouse Sr., 65, of San Bernardino died of emphysema Friday at home.

Boltinhouse, a lifetime resident of San Bernardino, worked as a supervisor for Santa Fe Railway for 43 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of San Bernardino, the Friendship Club of Santa Fe Railroad and the Destroyer Escort Association, and was a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Meryl Mae; four sons, Raymond Jr., James, Glen Dodds and Gary Dodds, all of San Bernardino; three daughters, Rita Hochvert of San Diego,' Valerie Bone of San Bernardino and Debra Hinkens of Mission Viejo; a brother, James of San Bernardino; 20 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, with services there at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery, 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino.." From The San Bernardino County Sun, February 2, 1992, page 20
