Graveside services for Chester McCloure will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, 2:00 PM at Goodland Cemetery with Rev Keithen Brown officiating. Chester went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Rowlett, Texas at the age of 66.
Chester was born October 10, 1955, to Horace and Maxine McCloure in Hugo, Oklahoma. He graduated from Hugo High in 1973. Chester enjoyed as a teenager loud music and driving fast! His mustangs were his favorite vehicles. He was an outstanding guitarist and drum player. He loved to cook and eat. Everyone would say he could make you laugh, he favored Robin Williams. Chester enjoyed watching scary movies. He lived in Denison area for over 20 years. He was a truck driver by occupation. He loved his mom and dad; Chester treasured his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gene McCloure and Joey McCloure; maternal grandparents, Luther and Lucy Bell; paternal grandparents, Homer and Bessie Conway.
Chester is survived by son, Christopher Cody Grace and wife, Charlsie of Dallas, TX; daughter, Andrea McCloure of Sherman, TX; step-son, Sean Lehman of Sherman, TX; sisters, Phyllis Furr and husband Haskell and Glenda Taylor and husband Ricky, all of Hugo, OK, Carol Stafford and husband Robert of Broken Bow, OK and Sharon Oakes of Hugo, OK; brothers, Brian McCloure and wife Tiffany of Hugo, OK, Roy McCloure of Tyler, TX, Wayne McCloure and wife Charlene of Hawkins, TX, Billy McCloure and wife, Clariece of Soper, OK, Jimmy McCloure of NC; three grandchildren, Jaidyn, Avery, and Noah; numerous nieces and nephews.
