Obituary: Beatrice E. Johnson, 67, Auburn, died March 29, 1990, in Auburn General Hospital. An Auburn resident since 1968, Mrs. Johnson formerly was employed for 13 years as a mechanic for the Boeing Co. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Black Watch Drum and Bugle Corps Booster Club in Auburn. Mrs. Johnson was born April 17, 1922m in Detroit, Mich., where she lived her early life. She married William Johnson in Detroit in 1951, and the couple later lived in California before moving to Auburn. She is survived by her husband, William H. Johnson of the home; two daughters, Lindi R. Buchanan of Lacey, Thurston County; and Vicki A.Rosebrock of Corona, Calif.; a sister, Mitzi Sewick, in Florida; and 5 Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Price-Helton Funeral Chapel in Auburn. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Auburn. Visitation will be today between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests remembrances be to foundations for heart or cancer research programs.
