CHILCOTT - The friends of the late Mr. Donald Chilcott are invited to attend his funeral, which is appointed to arrive for interment at the Methodist Church, Meander, at 3 p.m. this day (Monday).

Mr. Donald Chilcott
Deep regret was expressed at Meander at the death of Mr. Donald Chilcott, a well-known and respected resident. Mr. Chilcott was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Chilcott, of "Maryvale," Cressy He had suffered indifferent health for some time and died suddenly in Deloraine on Saturday morning at the age of 68 years.
He leaves a widow, one daughter, Ivy (Mrs. C. Bourke, Launceston), and two sons, Norman (Winnaleah) and Frederick (Meander). Mr. Albert Chilcott (Cressy) is a brother, and Mrs W. Blake (Longford) a sister.
The funeral took place at the Methodist cemetery, Meander, on Monday afternoon. The services at the graveside and in the church were read by Rev. W. E. Black. The carriers were Messrs. E. Chilcott, B. Elmer, J. Boxhall and N. Jackson. The chief mourners were the widow, Mrs. C. Bourke (daughter), Mrs. P. Brumby (sister-in-law), Messrs. N. and F. Chilcott (sons), Mr. A. Chilcott (brother,) Corporal C. Bourke (son-in-law), Messrs. P. Brumby, J. Bricknell, W. Blake (brothers-in-law), C. Chilcott, J. Chilcott, G. Chilcott and W. Blake (nephews). There were many floral tributes.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. B. J. Cameron, of Deloraine.
