Reinhardt predeceased her as infants. Surviving children: Mary Catherine (Lori) Ohlrogge (Rod) of Illinois, Shelley Lynn Armstrong Hayes (Richard) of Ohio and Shari Armstrong Torka of Saginaw, MI/TX. Most of her life she spent her time as a domestic engineer. She was the supermom of moms. In 1973 she went to work as a waitress for Sambo's Restaurant after Robert was injured in a work place accident. She worked 3rd shift while taking care of 5 children and giving home care to her husband. She later worked for Toys R Us for several years and then retired, only then to go back to work at Meijer's on Tittabawassee Rd. in the seafood dept. for 12 years. Beatrice then retired once again to take care of Robert until his passing in 2006. She was an SEIU union member of Health Care Workers. She helped out with Guardian Angels through St. Mary's when she could and devoted her life to taking care of Karen. She helped out with Girl Scouts, and always enjoyed the holidays when she could cook for everyone because Box Cakes was not an option. She loved to crochet Afghans and everyone in the family has one or two. Beatrice spent many hours with her best friend and buddy, Nancy Jarzabkowski and her daughter going to bowling, dance class, bible class or just to take short little road trips for the fun of it. Her and Karen loved going to Friday Night Live for the music and seeing friends. Mom's neighbor Mark Davis would always plow snow from her driveway in the winter, and was thought of immensely, for he too was her friend and buddy. Mom was most loving of mothers she cared deeply and her emotions were worn on her sleeve. Later in life she loved working in her rock garden and taking care of her dogs. Bea's latest dog Abby was a rescue and was very loyal to her. She is also survived by two brothers: Melvin and Robert Harrington and their children along with one sister Margaret Mavis (Dale) and their son Daniel. Brothers George and his wife Sylvia (Sue), Francis Harrington, Jr. and Richard Harrington predeceased her in life. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
