Russell Haley, 91, Greensburg, died Thursday, April 25, 2002 at the Decatur County Hospital. Born, January 18, 1911 in Sandusky, Indiana, he was the son of Walter and Maude (Humble) Haley. He married Ruth I. Simmonds and she preceded him in death on July 9, 1999. He was a house painter & handyman. He is survived by one son, Wayne R. Haley, Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother, Floyd Haley and 4 sisters, Hilda Hiers, Loraine Larrison, Mary Bird and Mildred Louise Henricks. There will be no Public Visitation. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2002 at the Rossburg Cemetery in New Point, Indiana with Rev. Mark Vice officiating. Internment will be at the Rossburg Cemetery in New Point. Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
