Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Darren Skinner officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.
Thelma graduated from Wellington (Texas) High School with the Class of 1942.
Mrs. Sorrells married James Elton Sorrells in Childress. She was a member of the National Antique Watch and Clock Association and the Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda McVay and Debbie Ellerd, both of Lubbock; a son, Davie Sorrells of Carlsbad, Calif.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
