Mr. Ruben W. Crenwelge passed away Sunday, February 3rd, at the age of 84. Ruben is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lindig Crenwelge; daughter, Diana Haverlah & husband Vernon of Mountain Home; son, Nathan Crenwelge & wife Heidi of Fredericksburg; sister, Wanda Ahrens of Fredericksburg; sister-in-law, Flora Crenwelge of Fredericksburg; sister-in-law, Dorothy Uecker of Johnson City; grandchildren: Jefferey Haverlah & wife Rebecca, Rebecca Bond & husband Jene, Michael Haverlah, Daniel Haverlah, Jason Crenwelge, Rachel Navejas & husband Rey; great grandchildren:Christopher, Jesse & Kaitlin Haverlah,Eli & Marcus Navejas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7th, 10 AM, in Christ Lutheran Church in Cherry Spring, with Rev. Mark Ward officiating. Graveside services & interment will follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday, February 5th, 4-8 PM, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home. The body will also lie in state Wednesday, February 6th, 10 AM-4 PM, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home & Thursday, February 7th, 9-10 AM in church. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Lutheran World Relief, or the charity of one's choice.
