She met Roy R. Lawrence while serving in the military service and they were married and moved to Greensburg in 1945. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1994.
Ruth is survived be one sister, Ruby Baldridge and two brothers, Carlson and Roland Baldridge, all living in Arkansas. She is also survived by a nephew, John and Ingrid Land, Greensburg and their children, Mark and Karen Land and family of Carmel, Indiana, Andrea (Land) and John Sampson and family of Blue Ash, Ohio. She is survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 2, 2006 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Jack Clark of the Church of Christ officiating.
Burial will be held in the Sand Creek Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Decatur County Hospice.
