RATLIFF CITY -- Services for Bruce M. Jackson, Pruitt City, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ratliff City First Baptist Church with the Revs. Dwight Hawkins and Bob Keck officiating. Interment will be at Old Velma Cemetery, Velma.

Jackson died Oct. 29, 1997, at Pruitt City. He was born Dec. 15, 1930, at Norman, to Gus and Ludie Jackson.

A lifelong resident of this area, he served in the Korean War and retired from the Rocket Oil Co. after 26 years of service. He was a life member of Ratliff City VFW where he served as post commander three years. He and Eunice Corbett were married Aug. 16, 1950, at Gainesville, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Thurza Baker, Seminole, and Holly McCurry, Velma; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Eugene, in 1967; and a brother, Leonard, in 1996.

Bearers will be Royce Williams, Greg Savage, Bobby Milburn, Stephen Baker, Bob and Bobby Walker. Honorary bearer is Adam Baker.

Milburn Funeral Home will direct services.
