Lillian B. Vonderheide, 84, 100F Home, died Friday, Nov. 23, at 1:40 p.m. in the Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Vonderheide was born May 13, 1900, in Decatur County, the daughter of Henry Chris and Bridgett Woods Bowman. She was married to Alex C. Vonderheide Aug. 24, 1944, and he preceded her in death July 2, 1977. She retired many years ago from employment with the Telephone Co. in Greensburg.

She is survived by two nephews, Dr. David Ardery, Greensburg, and Robert S. Ardery, Shelbyville; two nieces: Mary Ardery Dunn, and Ruth McHenry, both of Indianapolis, and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

The services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Geis officiating, and with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. Monday until 1 p.m., and there will be a rosary at 12 noon. The family suggests that memorials be in the form of donations to the Heart Association.
