He was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church where he was active in the Shaw Bible Class, and the Mens Club. Aldon worked as a Master Mechanic. He is survived by his wife Jessie V. Heckenlaible; children Alden J. Heckenlaible, Jr., Craig A. Heckenlaible, Brian D. Heckenlaible, and Angela M. Heckenlaible; brother Willard Heckenlaible and sisters Alice Lindsey and Idella Graelish; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 2 PM at Magnolia United Methodist Church, 1764 Wilroy Road, Suffolk, VA 23434 by Rev. Mike Harrington.
